Okay, we don’t hate all art. Sometimes we even love it. But there’s something about an art school fueled hierarchy that makes going into the professional art world leave a bad taste in our mouths. After leaving the college art scene, we found ourselves feeling unmotivated to create and the pieces that we did manage to start felt disingenuous and motivated by the wrong things. Now we’re trying to get back to the root of why we got into art in the first place: for the joy of creation, for the community, and for the vulnerability of self-expression. This collective was created with just that in mind. Our goal is to create and share collaborative works while also supporting and uplifting our independent lives and practices. Beyond that, our goal is to make art that is real and maybe a little bit weird. We hope you’ll find something interesting.
